MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION C13-181388
On September 7, 2013 at approximately 11:05 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a van in the area of Langevin Street and Provencher Boulevard.
 
As a result, the adult male driver of the motorcycle was transported from the scene in unstable condition. He has been upgraded to stable condition.
 
At this time, it appears that the motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Provencher Boulevard in the median lane, while the van was travelling southbound on Langevin Street crossing Provencher Boulevard. It was at/near this intersection that the collision occurred.
 
It is anticipated that the roadway (eastbound Provencher Boulevard) will remain closed until approximately 6:00 p.m.
 
Motorists are requested to avoid the area at this time.  
 
Members of the Central Traffic Unit continue to investigate.
