DRUG OFFENCE ARRESTS – C13-182914
On September 9, 2013 members of the Division 11 Community Support Unit entered into a drug investigation.  As a result, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.) warrant was applied for and granted.
 
At approximately 6:30 p.m. with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team the warrant was executed at a residence in the 500 block of St Mary Avenue.  Three people were located within and arrested.
 
As a result of the search the following was seized:

  • 3 pounds of Cannabis Marihuana with an estimated street value of $6,000.00
  • $1,860.00 in Canadian currency
  • Packaging materials

A 33 year old male and 28 year old female, both from Winnipeg are facing charges of Possessing substance for purpose of trafficking – CANNABIS (MARIHUANA) and Possess Proceeds of Crime.
 
A 31 year old male from Winnipeg is facing a charge of Possessing substance for purpose of trafficking – CANNABIS (MARIHUANA).
 
All three were released via Promises to Appear.
