Sunday, June 26th, 2011 FIRE C11-132801 On June 26th, 2011 at approximately 6:00 a.m., emergency services responded to a working fire at a business located in the 500 block of Des Meurons Street. At this stage of the investigation, damage is estimated at $1,000,000.00. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed. Members of the Winnipeg Police Service Arson Strike Force continue to investigate. Due to area road closures, motorists and pedestrians are requested to avoid the area.
