Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Sunday, June 19th, 2011     MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION INVOLVING PEDESTRIANS – UPDATE C11-125632 As previously released, on June 17th, 2011 at approximately 10:45 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the 100 block of Crestwood Crescent regarding a serious motor vehicle collision involving two pedestrians.   Attending members discovered that two male pedestrians, both 19 years of age were walking eastbound on Crestwood Crescent when they were struck from behind by an eastbound vehicle. Both pedestrians were conveyed to hospital. One of the pedestrians has since been treated and released from hospital. The other pedestrian had been initially transported to hospital in critical condition.
