Indecent Act – C14-97742
On May 13, 2014 the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of an indecent act.
 
Officers met with the 24 year old complainant who advised that at approximately 12:30 p.m. that day she had been walking in the area of the 1st 100 block of University Crescent.  At that time the suspect, who had been walking behind her, attempted to speak with her.  When she turned, the male was seen to be performing an indecent act. 
 
The suspect briefly blocked the victim however she was able to walk away and summon police. She was not injured during the incident. 
 
The suspect is described as: Black, 18 years or younger, approximately 5'6" tall with a thin build and short black hair.  He was wearing a blue and grey tank top and dark jeans.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
