Commercial Robbery Arrest – C14-104770
On May 22, 2014 at approximately 10:00 a.m., officers responded to the 4900 block of Roblin Boulevard regarding a robbery that just occurred to a financial institution.
 
The investigation has revealed that a lone male suspect robbed the business of an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
 
A short time later, the suspect vehicle was observed being driven erratically in the area of Wilkes Avenue and Shaftsbury Boulevard. As a result, a motor vehicle collision occurred in the area of Kenaston Boulevard and Lowson Crescent. The suspect fled on foot, pursued by officers and taken into custody.
 
An adult male is facing charges. Members of the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate.
