Robbery, Break-in and Theft Investigation Arrests – C14-93346
On May 7, 2014 at approximately 11:30 p.m., three male youth attended to the Transcona area of the city where they became involved in a crime spree.
The males attended to the 400 block of Winona Street at which time they forced entry to a detached garage. The males were scared off causing them to flee empty handed. Damage is estimated at $1000.00.

A short time later, the suspects gained entry to a Ford F-150 parked in the 200 block of Yale Avenue West. An undisclosed amount of money was taken and the males fled.

At approximately 1:15 a.m., the three youth gained entry to a detached garage located in the 200 block of Whittier Avenue West. Again, the males were scared off and nothing was taken.

A few minute later, the suspects encountered a 28 year-old-male riding his bike in the area of Bond Street and Kildare Avenue West. The males attempted to rob the victim of his bike.

Patrol and Canine Unit members attended the area. Members of the Canine Unit tracked all three suspects who were hiding in backyards located in the 100 block of Edward Avenue West.

The investigation continued by members of the District 3 Crime Unit. It has been determined that the same males were allegedly involved in several other recent robberies, break-ins and violent assaults.

Two 16 year-old males and a 15 year old malehave been arrested and charged with numerous offences, some of which include: Robbery, Break-in and theft.

All three remain in custody.
