Homicide Investigation – Update - C14-90225
As previously released, on May 4, 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded to the area of Main Street and Bannatyne Avenue regarding the report that a firearm discharge had taken place.
 
Patrol members quickly attended and determined that a group of males had been involved in a confrontation on the street in this area. A male produced a firearm and shot towards a group of individuals.
 
A male that was transported from the scene has succumbed to his injuries.  The deceased has been identified, as 23-year-old male, Rustom Vito PACLIPAN of Winnipeg. 
 
The investigation has revealed that two additional male victims, 18 and 24 years, also received non-life-threatening injuries during this incident.
 
This investigation is continuing and a number of interviews are on-going at this time.
