Thursday, May 15, 2014 Drug Arrests – R14-33792 Recently, members of the Marihuana Grow Operation Unit entered into a drug investigation regarding a residence in the 600 block of Aberdeen Avenue.  As a result of the investigation a Controlled Drugs & Substances Act (C.D.S.A.) search warrant was applied for and granted.   On May 14, 2014 with the assistance of General Patrol members and the Tactical Support Team the warrant was executed.  Three residents were arrested without incident.   A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of the following: 487 marihuana plants with an estimated street value of $545,440.00 4 pounds of dry marihuana with an estimated street value of $10,000.00 Grow operation equipment valued at $5,000.00 A 48 year old female and two males, 48 & 20 years of age, all of Winnipeg are each facing charges of Produce a Scheduled Substance - CANNABIS (MARIHUANA) & Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – CANNABIS (MARIHUANA).   All three were released via Promises to Appear.
