Wednesday, May 21, 2014       Suspicious Male – C14-102732 On May 19, 2014 at approximately 8:30 p.m., a 15 year-old female was approached by an unknown male in a van while in the rear lane of the 300 block of Flora Avenue.   The male drove up to the female and told her to get in while opening the power sliding door on the driver's side.   The female fled and the male drove off. No contact was made and the female was uninjured.   The suspect and vehicle is described as:   Male, Caucasian, in his fifties, heavy build, long white/grey hair, wearing eye glasses and a blue/grey shirt   Gold/brown mini-van   The investigation is continuing by members of the District 3 Crime Unit.
