Commercial Robbery – C14-107295
On May 25, 2014 shortly after 3:00 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched to a gas bar in the 3600 block of Portage Avenue for the report of a commercial robbery.
 
Officers spoke with the lone clerk who advised that he had been working outside the kiosk when he observed two male walking towards him, one with his face concealed.  The clerk immediately entered the kiosk, locking the door behind him.  The male with his face concealed produced a weapon and attempted to gain entry to the kiosk but was unsuccessful.  Both males then ran off.
 
Suspect #1 described as: Male, approximately 5'8" tall with a skinny build
 
Suspect #2 described as: Male, approximately 5'8" tall
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
Commercial Robbery – C14-107300
On May 25, 2014 at approximately 3:15 a.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a commercial robbery at a convenience store in the 500 block of Dale Boulevard.
 
Attending members spoke with employees who advised that two male suspects, one armed with a weapon and both with their identities concealed, had entered the store.  They immediately approached the counter, demanding and receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
 
Suspect #1 (armed) described as: Caucasian, 5'10 tall with a thin build and short dark hair
 
Suspect #2 described as: Caucasian, 6' tall with a thin build
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
Indecent Act – C14-107295
On May 25, 2014 the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of an indecent act.
 
Officers met with the two adult victims who advised that at approximately 5:30 p.m. they had been walking in the 100 block of Burland Avenue.  It was at this time a male youth ran up and performed an indecent act.  Both women yelled at him and he ran off.
 
The suspect is described as: Caucasian, 14-18 years of age, 5'9"-5'10" tall, with short light brown wavy hair.  He was wearing a grey t-shirt, black athletic shorts and running shoes.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the East District Crime Unit.  Anyone who has any information regarding the incident or the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204)986-2857 or Crime Stoppers at (204)786-TIPS (8477).
