Sunday, April 24, 2011 ASSAULT/MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION C11-80543 On Saturday, April 23rd, 2011 at approximately11:30 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to an incident in 200 block of Bannatyne Avenue. A suspect had sprayed numerous people outside of a night club with pepper spray. One victim stumbled onto the roadway and was struck by a passing vehicle. He was conveyed to hospital in stable condition. An 18 year old Winnipeg male was arrested and faces the following charges: · Assault with Weapon x 6 · Fail to Comply with conditions of recognizance x 3 · Criminal Negligence Cause Bodily Harm · Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose · Unauthorized possession of a weapon · Failure to comply with sentence · Warrant for Arrest x 3 The male remains in custody. ASSAULT C11-80590 On Sunday, April 24th at approximately 12:30 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a disturbance call in the 600 block of William Avenue. Upon arrival officers located a female victim suffering from a laceration to her arm. She was conveyed to hospital, treated and released. Police learned that two suspects had entered a residence where a party was taking place. One suspect produced a knife and stabbed the 20 year old victim. The suspects are described as:

SHOTS FIRED C11-80720 On Sunday, April 24th 2011 at approximately 3:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of shots fired in the 1000 block of Winnipeg Avenue. DISTURBANCE C11-80695 On Sunday, April 24th 2011 at approximately 3:30 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a Disturbance call in the 500 block of Paufeld Drive. Witnesses reported a male suspect armed with a baseball bat and an axe damaged a vehicle and house in the area.
