Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 11:00 a.m. FINANCIAL INSTITUTION ROBBERY C11-65867 On Monday, April 4th, 2011 at approximately 5:00 p.m. the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of a commercial robbery at a financial institution in the 1500 block of Dakota Street. A lone male armed with a knife entered the premises and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot. The suspect is described as: · Male · Tan coloured skin · Mid twenties · 6'1" 6'4" in height · 220 240 pounds with a stocky build Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Major Crime Unit at 986-6219, or CrimeStoppers at 786-8477. FIRE INVESTIGATION C11-66219 On Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 at approximately 3:00 a.m. the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a working fire at a residence in the 100 block of Maryland Avenue. There were no injuries. Damage to the structure was estimated at $50,000. The Arson Strike Force is investigating. SEXUAL ASSAULT C11-66158 On Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of a serious sexual assault that occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. in the 300 block of Partridge Avenue. A female in her mid twenties was returning to her residence when she was confronted by an unknown male. The victim was forced into a stairwell where she was sexually assaulted by the attacker. The victim was conveyed to hospital and released. The suspect is described as:
