Friday, November 8, 2013       COMMERCIAL ROBBERY – C13-229539 On November 7, 2013 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched to the 600 block of Kildare Avenue East for the report of a commercial robbery.   Responding officers met with the 21 year-old clerk who advised that a lone male with his identity disguised had entered the store and jumped over the counter.  The suspect produced a weapon, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash.    The clerk was not injured during the incident.   The suspect is described as: male, 5'10" tall with a skinny build.   The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).     COMMERCIAL ROBBERY – C13-229616 On November 7, 2013 shortly before 9:30 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to a convenience store in the 1000 block of Aberdeen Avenue for the report of a commercial robbery.   It was learned that the 51 year-old employee had been working behind the counter when he saw two unknown males, one armed with a weapon enter.  The clerk immediately ran to the back of the store, yelling for someone to call police.  This prompted the two suspects to flee empty handed and make good their escape.   Suspect #1 is described as: male, 20-30 years-old, short in height.   Suspect #2 is described as: male, short in height   The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
