MALE SHOT   C13-226075
On November 2, 2013 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Patrol members responded to the 700 block of Simcoe Street regarding a report(s) that a male had been shot.
 
Attending members located a 42 year old male with injuries consisted with being shot lying on the boulevard on the west side of the street, just south of Wellington Avenue.
 
The victim was transported from the scene in unstable condition. He has been upgraded to stable condition.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY    C13-226137
On November 3, 2013 at approximately 12:25 a.m., officers responded to a robbery involving a gas bar located in the 1300 block of McPhillips Street.
 
A lone male suspect entered the kiosk and confronted a 23 year old male employee. Cash and merchandise was demanded and an undisclosed amount was obtained before the suspect fled. No injuries were reported.
 
The suspect is described as:
 
Male
Caucasian
5'8"-5'9" tall
Average build
Dark clothing
White runners
