Suspicious – C14-118049
On June 6, 2014 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 15 year-old female was walking in the 300 block of Simcoe Street when she observed a vehicle, having a lone driver, pass her and park.
 
The female then noticed the male exit the vehicle and walk toward her on the sidewalk. As the unknown male approached, he initiated a conversation. The female continued walking and the male turned around and started walking back toward his vehicle.
 
No contact was made, however the female was concerned for her well-being.
 
The vehicle was observed to remain in the area for a period of time.
 
The suspect and vehicle is described as:
 
Male, Black, 40-50 years-old, 5'7"-5'8" tall, slim build, wearing: a longshoreman's style cap, brown/beige jacket and pants and prescription glasses.
 
Silver/grey Nissan Rogue
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Division 11 Crime Unit. Anyone with further information regarding this incident is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6668.  
  
 
Robbery Arrests – C14-118123
On June 6, 2014 at approximately 10:50 p.m., a 39 year-old male was confronted by a group of males while in the area of the 300 block of Ross Avenue.
 
The suspects were armed at the time when the victim's property was demanded.
 
The victim was physically assaulted and suffered multiple lacerations due to the incident. He is in stable condition.
 
The suspects fled, but were observed a short time later by Division 11 Foot Patrol members. The males were taken into custody, and while doing so, the injured victim was located.
 
Members of the Division 11 Crime Unit became involved.
 
Two 18 year-old males are facing the following charge:
 
Robbery
 
The investigation is continuing.
