Commercial Robbery Update – Arrests - C14-73316
As previously released, on April 11, 2014 at approximately 7:20 p.m., four suspects robbed a convenience store located in the 800 block of Mountain Avenue.
 
The suspects entered the business while concealing their identity and confronted staff. A 51 year-old male was stabbed and the business was robbed of lottery, tobacco and cash.
 
A 62 year-old male customer was also assaulted during the incident.
 
The victims were listed in stable condition.
 
The investigation continued by members of the Major Crimes Unit who were able to identify two of the suspects.
 
On April 15, 2014 Cameron Earl BAPTISTE 20 years & Brandon Lee George HUNTER 19 years both of Winnipeg were located and arrested for their alleged involvement.
 
Both have been charged with several Robbery related offences and were detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
 
The investigation continues by members of the Major Crimes Unit.  Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the outstanding suspects is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
