Thursday, April 10, 2014 HOMICIDE ARREST – C14-71321 As previously released, on April 9, 2014 shortly before 1:00 a.m. an adult female attended to the Victoria Hospital suffering from undisclosed injuries.  She later succumbed to her injuries.   The victim has been identified as Beverly CUSTER 34 years of Winnipeg.   The investigation continued by members of the Homicide Unit.   It was learned that the victim and the accused had been involved in a verbal argument at their residence in the 100 block of Barrington Avenue.  The argument escalated to the point where the accused armed him-self with a knife and stabbed the victim once in the upper body.  The suspect then drove the victim to the hospital.   Keith Alexander WALLACE 28 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Manslaughter for his alleged involvement.   He was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.     ATTEMPT ABDUCTION – UPDATE - R14-22759 As previously released, on March 29, 2014 shortly after 10:00 p.m. a 17-year-old female was walking in the area of Sterling Avenue and Homewood Drive when a car with three male occupants approached her.  The male passenger offered her a ride home, which the victim ignored and kept walking. The vehicle then continued on, turned around and approached the victim again. The passenger exited the vehicle, grabbed the victim by the arm and demanded that she get into the car. The victim managed to break free and run away. The vehicle is described as a 2-door blue Pontiac Sunfire.   The suspicious males are described as: Suspect #1: Caucasian male, approximately 20 years, with blonde hair.  He was wearing a toque and a dark jacket.
