MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION   C14-74447
On April 13, 2014 shortly after 2:00 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of Bishop Grandin Boulevard and St. Anne's Road regarding a serious motor vehicle collision.
 
At this stage of the investigation, it appears that a Chevrolet Cobalt was travelling westbound on Bishop Grandin Boulevard approaching St. Anne's Road, when the driver proceeded to turn southbound from a non-turning lane. While doing so, the Cobalt collided with a Hyundai Genesis travelling eastbound on Bishop Grandin Boulevard.
 
The two female occupants in the Genesis were transported to hospital in stable condition. The male occupant in the Cobalt was initially listed in critical condition. He has been upgraded to stable.
 
Due to the seriousness of the collision, road closures were put into effect.
 
Members of the Traffic Collision Investigation Section continue to investigate. Anyone with further information regarding the collision is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6271.
