Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Thursday, March 15th, 2012         FIGHT INCIDENT                                              C12-46710 On March 15th, 2012 shortly after 1:00 p.m. Winnipeg Police Service Members responded to a report of a large fight outside a school within the 100 block of Kingsway.    Upon arrival officers located a number of individuals that had sustained injuries and received information that the suspects had fled the area in a vehicle.      Paramedics attended and transported five individuals to the hospital, four in stable and one in unstable condition, who has since been upgraded to stable.   Responding police units observed the suspect vehicle parked in the area of Scotland Avenue and Lilac Street. Three male occupants from the vehicle were taken into custody without incident.    This investigation is in the early stages and is continuing by members of the Division 16 Crime Unit.    Anyone who has any information regarding this incident is asked to contact detectives at 204-986-2877 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).          For further information contact either: Constable Natalie Aitken, Public Information Officer Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Office: (204)986-3061 Fax: (204) 986-3267 Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca   Web: www.winnipeg.ca/Police
