Winnipeg Police Service News Release

Sunday, July 31st, 2011 1:15 p.m.     MISSING PERSON- ROBERT EVANS            C11-160051 The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing 74 year old year old male, Robert EVANS.  Investigators are concerned for his well being.   EVANS was last seen Saturday, July 30th, 2011 at approximately 6:30 p.m. standing near a bus stop in the area of Watt Street and Bowman Avenue.        EVANS is described as white, 5'5 to 5'7" tall, approximately 130 pounds,  with grey balding short hair and possibly wearing eyeglasses. He was last seen wearing a grey collared t-shirt and jeans.     Anyone with information regarding EVANS's whereabouts is asked to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250.   For further information contact either: Constable Natalie Aitken, Public Information Officer Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Office: (204)986-3061 Fax: (204) 986-3267 Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca   Web: www.winnipeg.ca/Police
