Winnipeg Police Service News Release

KICKING' IT WITH CADETS
Since Nov 21st, 2010, the Winnipeg Police Service Cadets have been actively engaging community partners and the public as part of their mandate to build a safer community through visual presence and building positive relationships.
 
The Cadet Section is leading an afternoon soccer game with children in Central Park called "Kicking it with Cadets". The Cadets have partnered with Central Neighborhoods' Development Organization, Downtown Biz, West End Biz and the Exchange Biz to host this event. 
 

 
We encourage media, community, and local business to come out and join us:
 
Date: Today (Wednesday, July 27, 2011)
Time: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Location: Central Park
 
Community events such as this capture the importance of building relationships and the value of providing a consistence beat presence to establish and maintain a safe place for youth.
 
Patrol Sergeant Dave Tyndale of the Winnipeg Police Service Auxiliary Force Cadets will be in attendance at the event to speak with members of the media.
