Sunday, January 30, 2011 HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION ARREST - UPDATE C11-19754 As previously released, on January, 28, 2011 at approximately 11:25 p.m., uniform members were dispatched to the 700 block of Allegheny Drive regarding a stabbing incident. Attending members located an injured male identified as, Cameron Jack WALKER, 16 years who was being assisted by people in the area. The investigation has revealed that the victim became involved in a minor dispute with several occupants within a residence. The victim eventually left the residence when a 28 year old male followed him outside. It was at this time a confrontation erupted and the 16 year old male was stabbed to the upper body. He was conveyed to hospital in unstable condition where he later succumbed to injuries sustained. 28 year old Matthew Craig KRASNY of Winnipeg has been arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Murder as a result of his alleged involvement. He has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre. The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.
