Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Wednesday, December 5, 2012     SERIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION C12-245328 On December 5, 2012 at approximately 8:45 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of the 200 block of Panet Road regarding a serious motor vehicle collision.   At this time, investigators have determined that a Saturn L300 was being operated by a 61 year old female northbound on Panet Road when a collision occurred involving a semi-truck/trailer which was being operated by a 39 year old male.   The female driver was transported from the scene in critical condition.   Members of the Central Traffic Unit continue to investigate.         For further information contact either: Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Constable Eric Hofley, Public Information Officer Office: (204)986-3061 Fax: (204) 986-3267 Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca   Web: www.winnipeg.ca/Police
