Stabbing Arrest – C15-93627
On May 9, 2015, shortly after 4:30 a.m. Winnipeg Police members were dispatched to the Concordia Hospital for the report of a male stabbed.  Shortly thereafter, a second call was received for an injured male in the 900 block of Norwich Avenue.
 
Officers attending to Concordia Hospital learned that an 18-year-old male, stabbed in the upper body, had been brought in by friends.  He is currently listed in stable condition.
 
Officers attending to the Norwich address located a 16-year-old male suffering from a non-life threatening injury.  He was transported to hospital in stable condition.
 
It was learned that both males had been at a house party in the 1st 100 block of Perry Bay where they were assaulted by a known male armed with a weapon.
 
The investigation continued by members of the East District Crime Unit who recently located and arrested the suspect without incident.
 
The investigation is continuing and charges have not yet been laid.
