Robbery Arrest – C15-62393
Sometime during the early morning of March 25, 2015, a male suspect contacted a pizza restaurant located in the 700 block of McPhillips Street and placed an order for delivery.
 
At approximately 1:00 a.m., the order was delivered to a residence located on Lusted Avenue when the delivery driver was confronted by two armed suspects. The driver was robbed of food and an undisclosed amount of cash. He was not injured and the suspects fled the area.
 
On March 29, 2015, an order was placed at a pizza business located in the 600 block of Portage Avenue requesting delivery to a residence on Hallet Street.
 
At approximately 12:40 a.m., the driver was again confronted in a similar fashion and robbed. The suspects fled with food, cash and the victim's cellular phone.
 
The stolen cellular device was tracked to a residence on Bowman Avenue. Due to the investigative efforts by members of the Division 13 Crime Unit, the robbery suspect was identified. A 19 year-old male was arrested for being in possession of stolen property. He was released on an Appearance Notice.
 
On May 6, 2015, a 17-year-old male was located and placed under arrest. He was charged with the following and remanded into custody.
 
Robbery x 2
Possession of a weapon x 2
Disguise with intent x 2
Fail to comply with disposition x 2


Indecent Act – C15-91689
On the evening of May 6, 2015, the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of an indecent act.
 
Officers met with the 15-year-old victim who advised that at approximately 8:15 p.m. that evening she had been walking in the area of Portage Avenue and Route 90.  It was at this time she observed an unknown male with his genitals exposed.  The complainant immediately left the area and contacted police.
 
The suspect is described as: Caucasian male, 25-35 years of age, 5'5" tall with a skinny build, light brown scruffy hair and a pierced left ear.  He was wearing black jeans, striped orange/blue shirt, black jacket and black work boots.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
