Motor Vehicle Collision Involving A Pedestrian – Public Assistance Required – C15-88507
As previously released, on May 2, 2015, shortly after 11:30 p.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Inkster Avenue and Bunting Street for the report of an injured, unconscious male.
 
A 22-year-old male was located suffering from injuries sustained in an apparent hit and run collision.  He was transported to hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.
  
Though there is no suspect vehicle description, it is believed the vehicle is smaller in size and there will be substantial damage to the involved vehicle's windshield. The following are examples of what the damaged windshield might look like:
                                  
                   

The investigation is continuing by members of the Central Traffic Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6271 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
