Monday, May 4, 2015       Update – Fatal Pedestrian / Motor Vehicle Collision – C15-88507 As previously released - On May 2, 2015, shortly after 11:30 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Inkster Avenue and Bunting Street for the report of an injured, unconscious male.   A male was located suffering from injuries sustained due to a hit and run collision.  He was transported to hospital in critical condition where he later died of his injuries.    Investigators have identified the deceased as a 22-year-old male.   The investigation is continuing by members of the Central Traffic Unit.
