Our Budget, Forward 2015 "Let's talk Priorities, Volume 6"

Spending wisely, meeting collective needs, creating the future we want The Our Budget, Forward engagement process began in March 2014 and will conclude in November 2014. Over the course of engagement to date, from March-June 2014, approximately 1200 citizens, members of the Public Service and organizations have participated through 30 different engagement opportunities. The second phase of engagement, Let's Talk Priorities, has come to a close and the first volume of "What We Heard" from our engagement activities is now available. You can find it online at Winnipeg.ca/2015Budget. March - April 2014 May - June 2014 November 2014 We encourage you to read through and consider what we've heard so far. In this summary you will find highlights from input and data received regarding: Ways of participating in this process: Who Participated and How Guiding principles for budget building and decision making Big ideas for wise spending The second volume of What We Heard will be available later this summer, and will contain different information about services Winnipeggers value, ideas for improvements, enhancements and changes and advice to Council in their decision making process.
