Shots Fired Arrests – C14-137357
On June 30, 2014 shortly after 7:00 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the area of Chancellor Drive and Pembina Highway for the report of a gun having been seen. 
 
Information provided was that shots were heard and two suspects had been seen getting into vehicle and fleeing northbound on Pembina Highway.  No injuries were reported.
 
Several units, including General Patrol, Tactical Support and AIR1 flooded the area.   Suspect and vehicle descriptions were voiced however the vehicle was not immediately located.
 
Shortly after 8:00 p.m. members of the R.C.M.P. advised that they had the vehicle stopped and the two suspects in custody near Roblin Boulevard and the Perimeter Highway.  Winnipeg Police Service units attended and the suspects were turned over into their custody.
 
Members of the Major Crimes Unit are continuing with the investigation and no further information is available at this time.
 
 
Assault With A Weapon – C14-137567
On July 1, 2014 shortly before 1:00 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the 100 block of Risbey Crescent for the report of a male having been shot with a pellet gun.
 
A 52-year-old male was located and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his upper body.
 
Initial investigation revealed that the victim had located a male suspect inside his garage.  A brief struggle between the victim and suspect ended when the suspect shot the victim with the pellet gun.
 
The suspect is described as: Caucasian male, 6' tall and clean shaven.  He was wearing a grey hoodie with a dark coloured trench coat over top.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
