Sexual Assault – C14-144493
On July 9, 2014 the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a sexual assault.

Officers met with the 24 year old victim who related that at approximately 8:00 a.m. on July 7 she had been walking in the area of Ness Avenue and Cavalier Drive.  At that time, while waiting for the bus, an unknown male inappropriately touched her.  The bus arrived shortly thereafter and the female boarded while the suspect remained behind.  On July 8, at approximately 3:30 p.m. the victim was in the same area when she was followed by the same male.  The suspect attempted to engage the victim in conversation, asking her to go with him to his place.  The victim rebuffed his advances, and once home, police were contacted.

The victim was not injured during either incident.

The suspect is described as: Caucasian with a medium build and blonde hair.  He was wearing blue pants and was wearing glasses.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Sex Crimes Unit.  They are asking anyone with information regarding these incidents or the identity of the suspect to contact them at (204) 986-3296.
