ATTEMPT ABDUCTION UPDATE - COMPOSITE SKETCH – C14-56568
As previously released, on March 19, 2014 shortly before 9:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of an attempt abduction of a child in the area of Arbuthnot Street and Warsaw Avenue.
 
Officers met with the 11 year old victim who related that while walking to school an unknown male grabbed her by the arm and attempted to pull her down Arbuthnot.  The suspect never spoke and the victim was able to break free and run home where police were contacted. 
 
The suspect below is described as: Caucasian, 50-60 years of age, short with a small build and a mole on his face.  He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, maroon toque with pompom and scarf around his mouth.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Child Abuse Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-3296 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
