WINNIPEG POLICE SERVICE SURVEY
Dimark Research will be pre-testing the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) citizen survey from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. this evening. The WPS survey is a random poll of 600 Winnipeg residents, conducted by phone.

It is anticipated that the majority of the surveys will be completed during the main phoning phase, from Monday, March 11 through Thursday, March 14.

The purpose of the survey is to get feedback from members of the public as to how they feel about the nature and quality of their Police Service and the job that the Service is doing. Citizens will be asked their opinions regarding crime and safety, crime prevention, traffic issues and any experiences/dealings they have had with the WPS in the past year or so.

The Winnipeg Police Service values this input from the public. It helps give the WPS a report card on how the public views the Service and allows citizens to offer their opinion on what activities they feel the Service should be focusing on in the future.
