COMMERCIAL ROBBERY – C13-045621
On Friday, March 8, 2013 at approximately 9:00 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to a gas bar in the 3300 block of Portage Avenue for the report of a commercial robbery.
 
Attending members met with the 25 year old male employee who advised that a lone male suspect entered the store, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect then fled the store.
 
The clerk was not injured.
 
The suspect is described as: Caucasian, 40-45 years of age, 5'11" in height, bald with an average build and wearing glasses.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).

On Saturday, March 9, 2013 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members responded to a convenience store in the 900 block of Lorette Avenue for the report of a commercial robbery.
 
The lone 57 year old male clerk informed officers that a lone male suspect armed with a weapon entered the store, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets after which he fled the store.
 
The clerk was not injured.
 
The suspect is described as: Caucasian, 6' in height.  
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
