FINANCIAL ROBBERY ARREST – C12-256228
As previously released, on December 20, 2012 at approximately 6:50 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a bank located in the 1500 block of Kenaston Boulevard regarding a robbery that just occurred.
 
The investigation revealed that three male suspects entered the business and confronted several employees. The suspects demanded money and obtained an undisclosed amount before fleeing in a stolen pick-up truck.
 
One of the suspects was identified and a Canada Wide warrant of arrest for Parole Revocation was issued for 26 year old Christopher Thomas HASTINGS.  On December 28, 2012 police requested the public's assistance in locating HASTINGS.
 
On March 13, 2013 at approximately 10:30 p.m. HASTINGS was located in the Point Douglas area at which time he was taken into custody.   
 
HASTINGS has been detained in custody at the Provincial Remand Centre and is facing several Robbery related charges.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY – C13-049560
On Friday, March 15, 2013 at approximately 2:00 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched to a restaurant in the 1400 block of Henderson Highway for the report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred.
 
Attending members learned that three or four suspects attended the restaurant, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money.  During the robbery an altercation between one or more of the suspects and a patron resulted with the patron sustaining an injury consistent with having been stabbed.  The suspects then fled.
 
The 38 year old male victim was transported to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.
 
There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
 
The investigation is in the early stages and is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.  Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact police at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
SHOTS FIRED – C13-049567
On Friday, March 15, 2013 at approximately 2:30 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to a hotel in the 300 block of Marion Street for the report of sounds of shots.
 
Responding officers met with hotel employees who advised that a male suspect had fired several shots from a firearm while in the parking lot of the hotel.  No one was injured and the male fled.
 
There is no suspect description at this time.
 
The investigation is in the early stages and is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact police at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
MALE WANTED – Morgan Van BONE – C13-030914
As previously released, on Friday, February 15, 2013 at approximately 2:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to a business located in the area of Main Street and Broadway.
 
Attending officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound who succumbed to his injuries.
 
The victim was identified as William Edward MOAR, 24 years of Winnipeg.
 
Members of the Homicide Unit continued with the investigation and have identified the following male as having been involved in the incident.  A Canada Wide warrant for 1st degree murder has been issued for:
 
Morgan Van BONE, 19 years of Winnipeg.


 

BONE is described as: Aboriginal, 5'9" in height, 230 pounds with a heavy build.
 
Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating BONE.   Should BONE be located, he is not to be approached.  The investigation is on-going and anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6508, 204-986-6222 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
