Stabbing Investigation – C15-47640
On March 9, 2015 at approximately 1:40 a.m., two females were walking in the area of Aberdeen Avenue and Aitkins Street when they were approached by an unknown female asking for cigarettes.
 
The females refused and began walking away. It was at this time the unknown female attacked the victims from behind stabbing them in the upper body. An unknown male was with the suspect at the time of the incident.
 
The injured females fled to a residence on Boyd Avenue and contacted emergency personnel.
 
Both victims, 31 and 37-years-old were located and transported from the scene in stable condition.
 
The suspect is described as an Aboriginal female, in her late 30's, 5'7" tall, 200 pounds, shoulder length dark hair and wearing dark clothing.

The investigation is continuing by members of the District 3 Crime Unit. Anyone with further information regarding the incident and or suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2848 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
