COMMERCIAL ROBBERY - STOLEN MEDICATIONS – C13-259598
On December 18, 2013 shortly before 11:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched for the report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred in the 1400 block of Henderson Highway.
 
Responding officers spoke with staff who advised that a lone male with his identity disguised and armed with a weapon had entered the store.  The male immediately attended to the counter, demanded medications and received the drugs below:

  • 500 x oxycocet (percocet) 5mg
  • 60 x oxyneo (oxycontin) 10 mg
  • 60 x oxyneo (oxycontin) 20 mg
  • 60 x oxyneo (oxycontin) 30 mg
  • 60 x oxyneo (oxycontin) 40 mg

The suspect is described as: approximately 6'4" tall with fair skin.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
 
The Winnipeg Police Service would like to remind the public that taking large quantities of these medications alone or in combination with other drugs or alcohol could be dangerous to your health or fatal.
