MARIHUANA GROW OPERATION ARREST – R13-90187
On December 3, 2013 members of the Marihuana Grow Operation Unit with the assistance of Uniform and Tactical Support Team members executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant in the 500 block of Fleet Avenue.
 
An adult male was located within the residence and arrested.
 
A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of the following:

  • 614 marihuana plants with an estimated street value of $687,680.00
  • 3.8 pounds of dry marihuana with an estimated street value of $9,500.00
  • 6 grams of Weed Oil with an estimated street value of $150.00
  • Grow operation equipment valued at $7,000.00

A 64 year old male from Winnipeg is facing charges of Produce a Scheduled Substance – CANNABIS (MARIHUANA) & Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – CANNABIS (MARIHUANA) for his alleged involvement.
 
He was released via a Promise to Appear.
