ATTEMPT VEHICLE ROBBERY UPDATE - ARRESTS – C13-260098
As previously released earlier today, on December 18, 2013 at approximately 9:30 p.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of an attempt vehicle robbery that had just occurred in the 1200 block of St Mary's Road.
 
Officers met with the 19 year old victim who advised that she had been walking to her vehicle when a female armed with bear spray approached and demanded her car keys.  When the victim refused the female sprayed her and then fled with three other suspects who had been standing nearby.
 
The victim did not require medical attention.
 
The suspect was described as: 17-20 years of age, 5'2" tall with a small build and blonde hair.  She was wearing a hip-length jacket with fur trimmed hood.
 
The three other suspects consisted of two males and a female.
 
The investigation continued by members of the East District Crime Unit.  As a result a 14 year old female suspect who assaulted the victim along with one of the other three suspects, an 18 year old male, have been arrested for their alleged involvement.
 
The investigation continues by East District Crime Unit members and further arrests are expected.
