UPDATE - MISSING PERSON - ROBERT THOMSON   R12-90528
The Winnipeg Police Service continues to request the public's assistance in locating a 21 year old male, Robert (Bobby) THOMSON.  Since our last release, additional information has been received. As a result, a composite drawing has been completed of a male who is believed to have been in the company of Bobby Thomson on the evening of July 21, 2012 at the Osborne Liquor Mart. The Winnipeg Police Service is still seeking further information regarding a female who may have been in the company of this male that same evening. 

The male is described as: Caucasian, approximately 5"10' – 6"0" tall, dark coloured eyes, muscular build, dark hair- possibly spiked on top.
 
The Winnipeg Police Service is asking anyone who may have any related information on this investigation to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).



FESTIVE SEASON CHECKSTOP PROGRAM - WEEK #1 RESULTS
The Winnipeg Police Service Central Traffic Unit has provided the results from the first week of the Festive Season Check Stop Program. 

1459 - Vehicles stopped
78 - Approved Screening Device (ASD) tests administered
13 - 24 hour suspensions issued (ASD Warns)
19 - Drive Impaired/Over/Refusal Charges including 4 ASD Fails
43 - Traffic related Provincial Offence Notices (PON) issued
