Sexual Assault – C16-56107
   
Public Advisory:
   
On March 14, 2016 at approximately 12:30 p.m., a 23-year-old female was walking in the area of Main Street and Jarvis Avenue when she observed an unknown vehicle pull up behind her.
   
An unknown person exited the vehicle and confronted the female by grabbing onto her waist area. The female victim was then forced into the backseat of the vehicle. While inside, the female was assaulted multiple times in the upper body.
   
A second suspect proceeded to drive in an unknown direction. The victim was restrained, sexually assaulted and threatened while inside the vehicle.
   
The victim was eventually able to flee the vehicle and run to safety.
   
The incident was reported to police some time later and members of the Sex Crimes Unit entered into an investigation.
   
One of the suspects is described as a Caucasian male.
