Residential Robbery C16-51127
On March 12, 2016, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Winnipeg Police responded to a report of a residential robbery in the 400 block of Horace Street. Officers met with the home owner, a 90 year-old male, who provided the following information:

Shortly after 10:00 p.m. an unknown male had attended to the residence and rang the doorbell. The victim opened a side window and spoke with male, who requested to a phone due to car trouble. The suspect male was passed a cordless phone, however, he proceeded to climb into the residence through the open window. After threatening the resident, the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as:
Caucasian male, approximately 30 – 35 years of age, medium build, with short hair and wearing a baseball hat with "Canada" on the front. He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with a ripped front and a second t-shirt underneath and blue mitts.

Strong-arm Robbery R16-19090
On March 14, 2016, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Winnipeg Police received a report of a strong-arm robbery. The incident occurred on March 13, 2016, at approximately 10:30 p.m.

The victim, a 28-year old male, was waiting for a transit bus at the intersection of Cathedral Avenue and Main Street when he was approached from behind by an unknown male. The suspect grabbed the victim's sweater, presented a hand-gun and demanded the victim's property. The suspect obtained the victim's bus pass and an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as: male, approximately 5'11" tall, wearing a black hoodie, with a red bandana covering his face, black coloured pants and black gloves.
