Update - Homicide Investigation – C16-40568
As previously released, on February 27, 2016, shortly before 3:00 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the 800 block of Main Street for the report of a male having been assaulted.
   
A 43-year-old male was located and transported to hospital in critical condition suffering from injuries as the result of an apparent assault.  He later succumbed to his injuries.  The victim has been identified as Henry KIPLING.
   
The investigation has revealed that the victim was assaulted twice, within a short period of time, by two separate individuals.
   
Investigators are attempting to identify the male and female pictured below.  Please note the distinctive black and white camouflage pants worn by the female.
   
   
   
 

   
   
The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
