Stolen Vehicle Arrests – C16-43206
On March 2, 2016 at approximately 7:15 a.m., a Toyota Tundra truck was stolen from the area of the 1600 block of Pritchard Avenue.
   
At approximately 6:00 p.m., two suspects were observed by officers inside the stolen truck while in the area of Logan Avenue and Keewatin Street. The suspects parked the truck at the rear of the 1800 block of Elgin Avenue West and proceeded to flee the area on foot.
   
Officers, including members of the Canine Unit tracked the suspects to a residence located in the 1800 block of Alexander Avenue.
   
Both males were arrested and have been charged with the following due to their alleged involvement:
   
Dallas Garret SLATER, 21-years-old of Winnipeg:
   
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.00
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
   
Doryan Joseph THOMAS, 20-years-old of Winnipeg:
   
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.00
Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 2
   
Both males were remanded into custody.
