Winnipeg Police Service Public Advisory

SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE INVESTIGATION          C13-82244
On May 3rd, 2013 at approximately 7:40 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members and emergency personnel were dispatched to a building within the 300 block of Main Street for a report of a suspicious package that was located.
 
Due to this active investigation, access to the surrounding areas has been restricted.
 
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area until further notice. 
 
Updates will be provided as they become available.
