Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Wednesday, May 1, 2013 MALE WANTED – Morgan Van BONE – C13-030914 As previously released, on Friday, February 15, 2013 at approximately 2:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to a business located in the area of Main Street and Broadway.   Attending officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound who succumbed to his injuries.   The victim was identified as William Edward MOAR, 24 years of Winnipeg.   Members of the Homicide Unit continued with the investigation and identified Morgan Van BONE, 19 years of Winnipeg as having been involved in the incident. BONE is described as: Aboriginal, 5'9" in height, 230 pounds with a heavy build.   A Canada Wide warrant for 1st degree murder was issued for BONE and on March 15, 2013 investigators requested the public's assistance in locating BONE.   BONE has not yet been apprehended and Police continue to seek the public's assistance in locating him.  Should BONE be located, he is not to be approached.  The investigation is on-going and anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6508 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).   For further information contact either: Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Constable Eric Hofley, Public Information Officer Office: (204)986-3061 Fax: (204) 986-3267 Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca   Web: www.winnipeg.ca/Police
