Missing person update – brent staple LOCATED r09-39980 On July 7, 2009, the Winnipeg Police Service issued a media release requesting the public's assistance in locating 33 year old Brent Alexander STAPLE. STAPLE was reportedly last seen leaving his residence on June 28th, 2009 in the University Heights area of the city.
An on-going police investigation has recently led the resolution of this long term file with Brent Alexander Staple being located safely.
The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance throughout this investigation.
MALE WANTED- MORGAN BONE - LOCATED C13-030914 As previously released, the Winnipeg Police Service had requested the public's assistance in locating Morgan Van BONE, 19 years. BONE was wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for 1st degree murder in connection to a homicide investigation that occurred on Friday, February 15, 2013 at approximately 2:00 a.m. at a business located in the area of Main Street and Broadway.
On May 8th, 2013 at approximately 6:30 p.m. members of the Homicide Unit arrested BONE without incident in the 1800 block of Elgin Avenue West.
BONE has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
