Wednesday, February 16, 2011 ARSON ARREST C11-31685 On February 15, 2011 at approximately 12:20 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service were advised of an arson incident at a residence in the 500 block of McDermot Avenue. The investigation has revealed that a 20 year old male had been involved in an argument with a family member. A short time later, it is alleged that he proceeded to dispense camp fuel and open propane bottles in the basement of the residence. A 44 year old female resident became suspicious and subsequently notified emergency services. Attending members located the fuel and propane bottles. No one was injured as a result of the incident. Darryl James LOVELACE, 20 years has been charged with the following offences: Explosives-Intent to cause explosion, Arson, Possession Incendiary Material. He was detained.
