Assault – Public Assistance Required: C18-24339   
On February 2, 2018, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a report of an assault that had occurred to a customer at a convenience store located in 1800 block of Henderson Hwy.
   
The victim, a male in his 40's, was waiting to pay for a purchase when he was punched in the face without warning by a male suspect who had just entered the store. The victim was transported to hospital where he was treated for significant facial injuries.
   
The suspect is believed to have been the driver of a white coloured Dodge Journey SUV which had stopped in the parking lot. 2 – 3 other males were in the SUV.
   
The suspect is described as Caucasian male in his mid-20's, approximately 5'8" in height with a medium build. He was wearing a green coloured hoodie and a black baseball cap with what appears to be a Blue Jays logo.

Homicide Investigation – Update Public Assistance Requested:C18-68311
On April 9, 2018, officers from the Street Crime Unit arrested Faron Henderson, 28.
He has been charged with Second Degree Murder in the killing of Gilbert Chartrand on April 4, 2018.
   
Jerome KAKAGAMIC remains at large.

Winnipeg Police homicide investigators are requesting the public's assistance in locating Kakagamic in the murder of Gilbert Chartrand. An arrest warrant for Second Degree Murder is in effect.
   
KAKAGAMIC is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached under any circumstance.
