Winnipeg Police Service Hosts Public Forum Monday, February 12, 2018
 
  The Winnipeg Police Service continues to work collaboratively with community partners to prevent, deter and reduce gang-related offences and drug activity in our communities.
   
  That effort starts with the residents we serve and support. As part of that effort, the Winnipeg Police Service invites residents to join us for a public forum on these important issues this evening.
   
   When: Monday, February 12, 2018 - 6:00 p.m.to 9 p.m.
   Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Presentations begin at 7 p.m.
   Where: Gordon Bell High School - Drama Room (3 Borrowman Place)
   

   In addition to the community crime prevention information booths that will be set up by our partners:
   
    Chief Danny Smyth and The Winnipeg Police Board will be in attendance
    Meet the Divisional Commander from your Police District.
    Gang Awareness Presentation - Help keep kids from joining gangs.
    Fentanyl and Addictions Foundation Manitoba presentations.
    WPS Drug Experts will speak on Methamphetamine and its link to crime.
   
   Crime Prevention through social development is a long term, planned process of collaboration between police and the community.
